“A Millennium Actress” is about a filmmaker, Genya Tachibana, who documents the life of a famed Japanese actress, Chiyoko Fujiwara, as she explains her journey from being a teen to a big celebrity.

Reese Witherspoon stars in “A Good Lie” which encompasses the life of  Theo and his siblings after their village is destroyed and their parents were killed by Northern militia. They make a very challenging journey to a refugee camp and then later the United States where they meet Carrie Davis who was given the job of helping them develop a life in the United States after everything they had was destroyed.
